Private water supply augmentation project in Shivpuri

Under the Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme for Small & Medium Towns (UIDSSMT) of Government of India, The Shivpuri (M.P.) water supply scheme has been privatised through a Public Private Partnership (PPP)  arrangement. Doshian Ltd. which is a sister concern of  French water trading firm Veolia has got the contract for 25 years for this project. This report elaborates issues related to this project.

छोटे एवं मझौले शहरों की बुनियादी ढॉंचा विकास योजनाऍं (UIDSSMT) के तहत स्‍वीकृत शिवपुरी (म.प्र.) में जलप्रदाय योजना का पीपीपी के तहत निजीकरण किया गया है। पानी का व्‍यापार करने वाली फ्रासिंसी कंपनी विओलिया की सहयोगी कंपनी दोशियन लिमिटेड को इसका 25 वर्ष का ठेका दिया गया है। इसी योजना के मुद्दों पर प्रकाश डालती है यह रिपोर्ट।
